Vinos Inacayal, La Patagua Semillon Moscatel, 2022

“La Patagua” (Crinodendron Patagua) refers to an indigenous Chilean tree which grows abundantly in the Colchagua area. The label image is of the flower of the Patagua tree aka “Lilly of the Valley”.

‘Inacayal’ is a Quechua (indigenous peoples of South America) word which loosely translates ‘old thing’. The chosen indigenous name is relevant as the grapes authentically Chilean, this is a nod to the old vines used in this this project. Semillon (and Sauvignon Vert) vineyard is in Colchagua and the Moscatel comes from ‘Guarilihue’ Itat
